Library of Parliament
Established at the time of Confederation, the Library has provided the support and information that Senators and Members of Parliament need in order to consider legislation and address the issues affecting the governing of Canada. Today, we continue to build on that tradition of service while responding to the unique needs of a modern day Parliament. Our professional employees sort thorough the vast number of resources to deliver reliable and non-partisan information and research and analysis to assist parliamentarians in their roles in the Chamber, in committee, help them serve their constituents, and inform Canadians about Parliament.
